BMW E30 M3 Unused Factory Shell

Spotted for sale in Dallas, Texas is a BMW E30 M3 Unused Factory Shell for $30,000 +. Here is a very rare opportunity to buy an unregistered shell. I am amazed something like this still exists. It still has all its factory stickers in place and this has never been registered. For anyone wanting a pristine M3 shell for a restoration project , you will not be able to find anything better. The seller has been holding on to this shell for 15 years. It has been stored in a bubble on its original wooden dolly until it was shipped to the USA. At that point it was moved to a new dolly to comply with US import requirements for wood.

Part Number 41 00 1979 078

What do you think about this M3 Shell?

1988 BMW E30 M3

Spotted in San Francisco is a 1988 BMW E30 M3 Project for $26,500 USD.    This car was for sale about a year ago.  Its nice to see this car reappear again.  Its definitely a project not for the fainthearted.  There is a lot of body work to be done to make this car right.  As you can see in the pictures there are rust issues especially below the front windshield.  Looks like the seller has bought the metal sections that are needed to be replaced.  I am sure someone will take up this challenging restoration project.  It will be worth it when its back on the road  in its original Lachssilber color.   Only issue I see is the current price.

What do you think of this car?

What do you think this should sell for?

He raced Alfa Romeos and other cars in the 1960s and 1970s.  Has tool kit and spare tire with jack.  This car has never been apart or repainted.  This car needs a complete restoration.

The restoration was started, but stopped when the owner took the left driver’s window and left rear quarter window out of the car. The car comes with these parts, along with the chrome trim that was removed when the restoration was started years ago.
