I personally love 356A coupes and convertibles.  They are amazing and nostalgic all at the same time.  I am always a fan of anyone brave enough to take on a car restoration ike this.  It requires alot of time  and deep pockets to do it right.  I love seeing cars that are documented from Day 1 to the first drive.  Its very exciting to see.  This car is worth saving but this car requires almost too much work.  Do you agree?
I am not so sure you could restore this without being upside down financially. Â There are so few 356A cars left that it is the Porsche enthusiast’s obligation in life to restore them. Â I know there are people who would love to turn this into a 356A Speedster. Â Â Blasphemy?
1996 PORSCHE 993 RS COUPESold at Techno Classica 2016  Coy’s Auction for  $256,715 US Dollars
I think this is a good reference to see what these cars are worth today and where they could go in the future. Â These are very rare and desirable cars. Â These cars were produced from 1995 and 1996 only. Â Unfortunately this car was never approved for the USA. Â In europe this car was street legal . Â These lightweight cars feature a 3.8 liter engine with 300 bhp.
The headlight washers were deleted for weight savings. Â The rear seats were removed and special racing seats and lightweight door cars were installed. Â Sound proofing was almost nonexistent on these cars. Â Â The curb weight was around 2,800 lbs which is 200 lbs less than a base coupe.
Road and track thinks these ultra rare cars can reach $450,000 US Dollars   Click Here
