This is an extremely rare  matching numbers example which sold new to a Milanese owner on April 20, 1953, but shortly thereafter was sent to Carrozzeria Zagato where it received the iconic double -bubble aluminum body work, lightweight bumpers, plexiglass side windows, and other racing and weight saving features that was only given to the Elaborata cars.    This is an exceptional car with an amazingly well documented ownership and racing history.
