1979 Maserati Merak SS with Bora Dash

  Spotted in Maryland is a 1979 Maserati Merak SS with Bora Dash for $35,000 USD.   The seller states there were only 970 Merak SS examples built with only 314 that came with the Bora style dashboard.  The 1980s dealer invoice shows it was purchased for $17,325.  The car is currently not running.  It will need a full restoration but I think this car would be fun to restore.  The seller also confirm that the tool kit is included and the undercarriage is in good shape.  The body however will need some work. Notice the rust on the front and rear panels. Would you take on this restoration?
