I was always disappointed to find out parts were sourced from a cheaper inferior car.   Its one thing to be informed but to spot the part from a less desired car is depressing. The Virage  was considered a heavy car even though it was all aluminum body.   It could reach a top speed of 158 mph.   Shockingly, the 5 speed ZF manual transmission was fitted to only 40% of the cars.   The more popular option was to order the automatic transmission with a Chrysler 3 speed Torqueflite transmission.    In 1993, the 3 speed was upgraded to a 4 speed automatic.    Later a 6 speed manual transmission was offered late in the production run.  The 6 speeds are the ones to own. To this day, I cant stand the way Aston Martin names their model line up.   Its so confusing. Aston Martin had the Virage and its high performance counterpart is the Vantage in 1993.    The Vantage was later referred to only has the V8 Coupe starting in 1996

1964 ALVIS TE 21 CONVERTIBLE (series 3)

Sold at Auction 2016 Blenheim Palace for $69,800 US Dollars. Its always good to discover something new.  I couldnt find a lot of information on these British Alvis cars.  They were a low production brand for a short period from 1963 to 1966. This is a 3 liter drop head coupe produced by English Manufacturer called Alvis.    These cars were built between 1963 and 1966.  Their bodies were built by Mulliner Park Ward. From 1963 to 1966 only 352 cars were produced but less than 100 Cabriolets.

One of the coolest cars I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Defenders were brought into North America for 1994, 1995,and 1997 only. There have been very low mileage Defenders selling for over $80,000 USD. This particular car is white and is number 451. Each car has a numbered plaque on the rear of the car. I had a 1995 beluga black car and miss selling it for way too cheap to a guy in Hamptons New York. It was number 2001 so if anyone knows where it is, I am willing to buy it back.

Seller will pay for shipping $20k in recent service/ maintenance VIN: SCCFC20A5JHF62115 I have always has a fondess for Lotus Esprits.    This is an 1988 model.    Peter Stevens redesigned the esprit which debuted in 1987 also known as Project X180.    These cars are turbo charged and produce 215 bhp and 220 lb-ft  which gave it a 0-60 time of 5.6 seconds.   Not bad for a 4 cylinder engine in the 1980s.    It also had a stop speed of 150 mph. The 1989 Esprit was improved again with GM multi-port , electronic fuel injection and the addition of a new water to air intercooler which Lotus called the Chargecooler.   This raised performance to 264 hp with 280 available on overboost.   The 1989 cars had a 0-60 time of 47 seconds with a stop speed raised to 160 mph.
