Spotted in Maine is a 1988 BMW E28 M5 for $20,000 USD. The seller states this car has 138,517 miles and has a clean carfax.  The car received a full windows out repaint in 2001. There is a rust bubble on the lower side B pillar. An 8 point cage was custom installed along with competition seats and 5 point racing harnesses. The engine was rebuilt in 2001 by Dave Herman at 128k miles with a cost of over $14,000 USD. At the same time in 2001 , the transmission was rebuilt and a Quaife ATB race differential was installed.  The seller fitted 340mm 993 GT2 brakes in the front and 328mm Boxster S brakes in the rear. As an additional bonus a parts car is included with the sale which is a 1988 535I black on black with 535is options.
