Road Trip 2017: Hunting for Classic Cars
Day 3

Today we decided to drive to  Stockton, California to see a few cars for sale.   These cars were on my list of cars to check out on our road trip.  The owner has for sale an original paint and interior Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalve, a black Ferrari 328 GTS, and a red Ferrari 348 Targa.   Afterwards we decided to keep driving north to Sacramento ,  Redding, and eventually stopped in Ashland, Oregon due to the challenges of driving at night in ice and snow.  Its a beautiful drive that I rare get a chance to do.  Normally we dont go farther than Napa so this was a nice change of scenery.

Above:  The seller had a black on black Ferrari 328 that was resprayed in black.  The paint wasnt exceptional and the overall car was just ok.  He wanted $65k and although I was looking at one , I had to pass.

Above: This Ferrari 348 Targa has only 27,000 miles on it and looks pristine.  The seller wanted $59,000 USD.

Above:  The 1984 308 GTS Quatrovalve has the euroopean fog lights and european front spoiler which I like the look of.

Seller says its all original paint and interior leather.  He wouldnt let it for less than $65,000 USD.   I believe the odometer was at 85,000 miles.  Overall a nice car and is something to consider.
