Here is a Ferrari F40 Rear Bonnet For sale in Ventura, CAlifornia. This is a huge Ferriari part but for anyone with an F40 needing a replacement rear bonnet, this maybe your best option. I cant imagine what the Ferrari Factory would charge for a piece like this. The seller states this piece has been repaired by professionals using carbon/kevlar cloth as per the original. I dont think anyone without a crashed F40 could justify the purchase price. Its a great piece of automobilia for a man cave but not for this kind of cash. A year ago, there was someone selling an F50 hood for $5,000 USD. Perhaps, it was the same seller but the hood was damaged and needed proper repairs. This rear bonnet commands some serious money, but what choice do you have if you need it to complete your car.
The last F40 rear clip/bonnet for sale, that needed repairs ($5,000+ worth) was in Japan and had an asking price of $32K. It’s no longer for sale, & assumed sold. It had no tail & no rear tail light bezels. The tail’s sell for a bit under $5,000 & the taillight bezels sell for about $1,800pr.
