Spotted in Scarsdale is a 1967 Shelby GT 350 for $189,000 USD.  This is a early production 289 hipo 4 speed with all early 67 Shelby Original Parts including Lucas flame thrower headlights.  The paint is in good condition with some minor flaws.  The seller has added a period correct paxton super charger.   This is the first of only 12 Shelbys built in 1967 to be painted charcoal grey.  It is a matching numbers stamped block and transmission.   The car was fully restored in 1991.
What do you think of this car?
Here is a 1968 Shelby GT500 Convertible for sale in the San Francisco area. Â It is a matching number example and rare with only 402 convertibles made in 1968. Â Seller states this car is even more rare due to its serial number indicating it was built in 1967. Â I recently came across a white GT500 for sale for $180,000 so this maybe a good deal. Â Â I have never seen this color on a Shelby but its stunning. Â It is a gold color that was rarely ordered when new. Â The car has been reprayed once before and the top was changed from white to black. Â Â This car has also been part of the Shelby Registry for over 30 years and has only 66,000 original miles.
