This Polar Silver 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo was found for sale in Colorado. It only has 22,000 miles for $189,900 US Dollars. Looks to be in great condition and probably exactly what a collector is looking for. oks to be a nice example in a very desirable color. The service books are properly stamped showing regular routine maintenance.
A 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo in Fly Yellow with Andial upgrades was found in Colorado. This car had 49,200 miles but what is more interesting is that it was modified by Andial. The current owner does not know what kind of modifications were done but it would be worth finding out. I’m not a huge fan
I have seen a few being driven in LA when they were new but havent seen one driven around in probably a decade. There were only 250 examples produced in 1992 and 1993. I had no idea these cars were so rare. Maybe 30% have been in accidents are totaled by now..? No one really talked about these but they are cool cars. They are built using the turbo flares and turbo specs which included 17″ cup wheels and brakes and suspension. A local classic car dealer sold a very tired tiptronic version for $89,000 less than a year ago. Its difficult to know where today’s market value on these are. I’ve seen them as low as $50,000 for a high mileage example to as high as $120,000 for a pristine garage queen. This particular car looks great in white with the white interior. The Roadster badge on the rear lid is missing. I like that it is a manual transmission over the tiptronic also.
Where would you say the market is on the 964 Roadsters?
Road Trip 2017: Day 2
We explored San Francisco and had a great time. In the morning we went for Dim Sum which is my favorite thing to do in the rain. It was a recommendation and the quality of the food was amazing. Next we explored the Windmills and Land’s End. Its beautiful and reminds me of Carmel by the Sea with the forests along the coast and the wind swept trees.
