1962 Austin Mini Cooper 997

Spotted in Homer, Alaska is a 1962 Austin Mini Cooper 997 for $15,000 USD.
This is the Austin original mini cooper 997 most popularized for racing. It has sat in a old abandoned warehouse on the homestead for decades and is in really good condition. The body had been painted with primer to keep out rust, and it has been dis-assembled. All the parts ready for re-assembly. It comes with two engines, one with only 15,000 miles on it. It has the “Heritage Certificate” so you would be able to buy original parts for it from the manufacturer.

1990 Lotus Esprit Turbo SE

Spotted in California is a 1990 Lotus Esprit Turbo SE for $25,499 USD.   The selling dealer state this car is in excellent condition.  It is a no accident car with a clean car fax.  It is black with a clean tan interior.  The leather seat bottoms are not worn or have the dreaded butt imprint common with lotus seats.  It has 40,000 original miles and has undergone a recent service.  There is an extensive binder of service history and records that come with the car.  These esprits look very appealing in black.  This one has the 1993 esprit 5 spoke one year only wheels which look great.   The dealer says this car passes smog with no issues and even has a chip installed.

What do you think of this car?

1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo SE Found in New Jersey

1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo SE

Spotted in New Jersey is a 1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo SE for $24,900 USD.   This is my favorite color combination of white with tan leather interior.  The seller states the car was just serviced and is a nice driver.  It has 44,000 original miles.   The driver seat is showing more wear and tear as expected.  The passenger seat looks like it had very little use.  Overall the interior looks good or its age.   The Peter Stevens body style produced from 1987 to 1993  seem to be creeping up in price these days.   Recently a red 1989 Turbo SE sold for $29,700 USD. What do you think of these 80’s super cars?
