Spotted in San Diego, California is a 1991 Mercedes AMG 500SL 6.0 for $89,000 USD. The selling dealer states this car has only 21,740 original miles. The exterior is blue/black metallic and the interior is anthracite leather. This special ordered car was originally delivered to the Kingdom of Jordan for the Royal Family. Completion of the work at AMG was finished by the end of September, 1990. For unknown reasons, the original order from Amman, Jordan was cancelled and the vehicle instead remained at AMG until finally being sold to a private Japanese museum collection

This would be a super rare find if true and a worthy restoration project to undertake. There are so many questions to the legitimacy of this car. Hopefully more details soon.
