Spotted in San Francsico is a 1992 Mercedes 500E for $11,900. The car has front end damager which should be fixable. It does not have a salvage title and should be saved. Its also in my favorite color of Arctic Silver. This car also has relatively low mileage of only 113,917 miles. I have seen cars with 200k miles go for 20k. This may cost less than 5k to repair and get back on the road. Hopefully there is no issue with the frame.

Today I had a rare opportunity to inspect a 1995 Ferrari 288 GTO that only has 700 kilometers since new. It was kept in a building in the east coast and was always covered in dust. My mechanic was chosen to do its first engine out service. The service will require a much needed belt replacement and for that reason the car will not be started. A compression test was performed and it was excellent. All Ferrari 288 GTO cars were grey market cars brought into the USA. None of these cars were ever officially sold here.
This is a hot rod build on a lightweight chassis with full coilver and solid bushings. This car seems to come with a lot of good components. It has a non matching twin plug short stroke 3.2 liter engine with 12.85:1 compression. It is built on a 3.0 aluminum case with a 2.0 liter crank. It has PMO 50 carbs with crankfire ignition. This car must use 110 Octane fuel. The seller states the car has been dyno’d at 330 hp at the wheels and according to the seller will beat his 911 Turbo. It also has a 915 gear box with limited slip. You can see from the pictures, it has Recaro seats. The wheels are 15 x 8 front and 16 x 10 rears on Hoosier Dot Tires. The front and rear fenders are fiberglass. The seller can be a little short with people but will answer questions.

Spotted in Edmond Oklahoma is a White 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS for $67,000 USD. This is not your typical Ferrari Red with tan interior car. This 328 is a very rare color combo of white with red interior and looks to be in excellent original condition. It only has 23,000 original miles and is said to run great. The 328 was produced form 1986 to 1989 and came as berlinettas or targas. They used a 3.2 liter engine and are considered to be one of the most reliable models Ferrari ever made. Overall, there were 7,400 examples produced worldwide until 1989 when the Ferrari 348 was introduced. This is a non ABS model since ABS cars did not start until mid year 1988. The ABS cars seem to carry a premium to the non ABS cars due to their reworked suspension geometry and more desirable Convex Star Wheels which complements the car’s design.
