This red 1994 Porsche Speedster can be found for sale in Austin. These cars are very rare with only 427 made for the USA. I have always liked these cars but not as much as the 1989 Porsche Speedster. The 1 year only 1994 model like this one always had a narrow body whereas the 1989 Speedster used a turbo wide body. I think that was a better look for this model. I still think these cars are going to have more appreciation in the future. This one is priced pretty aggressively at $119,990.

The 1994 Speedster had the option of ordering in standard trim or ClubSport Trim. It had a softer suspension setup than the 964 RS. It had power windows as standard with the option of air conditioning and a radio. Originally Porsche wanted to build 3000 examples but only produced 936 cars for the world with only 427 making it the USA.

Fact: Right hand drive 1994 Speedsters are extremely rare so keep an eye out for those. Only 14 1994 Speedsters were built in right hand drive while 139 examples of the 1989 Speedsters were right hand drive.

Fact: 20 special examples were finished by the Porsche Exclusive workshiop called Werk 1 and were given the Turbo Look wide bodies.
