I remember reading about this car in European Car Magazine. Â Â Although not my favorite model of Ferrari it deserves to be discussed due to its rarity. Â Â Ferrari 355 challenge cars are trading hands in the 140k -160k price range. Â It was just a matter of time before the Ferrari 348 cars followed suit. Â This is a very rare car and the dealer has priced it accordingly. Â I am not sure if its priced correctly but I am sure collectors are paying attention to an appreciating classic.
The Ferrari 348 (type F119) is a mid engine rear wheel drive V8 sports car.  It was the final v8 developed by Enzo Ferrari  before his death, commissioned for production after his death.  The Serie Speciale was built in 1992 and 1993 with only 100 units made.  This particular car is the TB which is the fixed roof berlinetta coupe.  Ferrari also made the TS which has the removable targa top.  According to my research there were only 35 TB Serie Speciales built making this a very rare car.
The Serie Speciale:
- Revised engine which produced 312 bhp at 7,200 rpm
- Wider rear track (50mm)
- Free Flow Exhaust System
- Shorter final drive
- Pirelli P Zero tires
- New front spoiler
- New front grill with chrome prancing horse
- Bumper and rocker panels in body color
- modified taillight assembly
- new rear grill with chrome prancing horse
Ferraro gave it a 0-60 time of 5.3 seconds and standing 1/4 mile of 13.75 seconds
Each car is numbered from 1 to 100 with a special plate on the passenger side door post
Ferrari also confirmed 15 extra cars were produced making the total production of this rare limited edition car to 115 units.
