1991 Mercedes 300CE White AMG
Spotted in Los Angeles California is a 1991 Mercedes 300CE AMG for $4,700 USD. The pre-merger era of AMG was responsible for some great body kits and engine transplants. This 300CE has a stock engine and an AMG body kit from that era. I believe its missing the proper AMG front spoiler but has the side skits, rear bumper, and ducktail. I particularly like the Affalterbach AMG badge on the rear trunk. The wood on the center console does not match the wood surround of the gear selector. It has an aftermarket gear knob and Kenwood radio. Above the dash it shows a Sportline Emblem which may not have been available yet on the 1991 model. Surprisingly, the car has the 180 mph AMG gauge dials which is a nice detail. This car is tired but for an AMG enthusiasts it has good bones to restoration back to its former glory. There is a big chunk missing from the right corner of the ducktail. Apparently the seller lent the car to a friend who had an accident at Burning Man. The seller states that a transmission flush and a new OEM catalytic converter was installed last week. It was also given a set of brand new front tires. It will need to be smog inspection and has a clean title.
