Spotted for sale in Lomita is a white 1989 BMW M3 for $70,000
237,000 miles
Selling my E30 M3. I’ll add more details as I remember them.
The car runs strong. Has original motor. I don’t currently have it registered because the catalytic converter I have no longer meets CA requirements. I’m not sure why since I was able to easily smog the car several times before with this same converter.
Very unique feature is that in 1999 I had the inside of the truck lid signed by the factory BMW race team at Laguna Seca, two of whom raced the E30 M3 in DTM.
More about the signatures. They were from drivers driving the BMW V12 LMR cars for BMW Motorsport at the 1999 American Le Mans series at Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA.

Some things that need addressing:
Needs new rotors and pads
Suspension and steering should probably be gone through
Needs to be smogged if staying in CA.
Emergency brake cables need replacing.
Needs new mechanical fan and fan clutch (though it runs fine without and doesn’t overheat using just the electric fan)
Needs new 12v battery, the installed battery is very weak.
What do you think?
