I am the second owner of this 1988 BMW M6 and have owned the car for 30 years. The car is completely stock and unmolested. It has always passed its smog check with no problems and was smogged about 3 months ago.
The car is in excellent condition and has brand new (less than 300 miles) Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 size 235/45 ZR17. It also has the original M6 3.5 liter inline 6 cylinder engine. If you’ve never driven BMW’s big 6 you’re in for a treat. Silky smooth is the best way to describe it.
If you are looking at this car you probably already know how rare they are with only about 2,000 produced for the North American market. I have the original BBS basket weave wheels that are included in the sale. The reason I replaced them with the OZ 5 spoke wheels is because the BBS are metric size wheels and there aren’t a lot if good tire options for them.
As you can see from the photos the car is black with the gray interior. The mileage is currently 63,778, but this is subject to change as I drive it from time to time. The interior is in excellent condition.
