1984 CIMBRIA Gull-wing premium kit car
Powered by a 1972 Porsche 911S spec engine.
This is a very unique build. Built by a MIT professor as a engineering exercise. A Real life”Doc Brown”. There is a flux capacitor hand built for the engine. The professor found the MSD ignition inadequate, so he designed and built a massive multiple discharge ignition unit that looks like a “flux capacitor”. This guy was not a kit car putz. Years of engineering input with documentation of every circuit board.
There is a copy paper box full of documentation( passenger seat photo), engineering data books receipts flyers more.
There is a lot of Hi-Tech for the 80’s
Electronics. Not store bought, Before digi dash kits were available. There is pro built engine paperwork in the amount of $9000 from famous shop in CA, more like $15,000 if today. The seats are Scheel Mann from Stuttgart and damage/wear free.
The original owner began the build in his 60’s and sold it in his 80s as a completed
project and just too old to drive it. Ultra low miles
Engine has been fogged and turned
Clear coat is failing, on top only. Red base coat vivid.
6 Weber carbs may have old fuel
I would replace the oil tank hose
The tires aren’t cracked, but are old w 95% tread. Glass all good
Electrical all works, door poppers etc
