1980 Porsche 928 Wide Body

Spotted in Westchester, New York , a 1980 Porsche 928 Wide Body for $12,500 USD.   This car has been owned by the seller for over 20 years.   It only has 68,000 miles  and has custom wheels and a 5 speed transmission.   I am not sure who makes the widebody kit on this car?   This is not to everyone’s taste but its was the product of the 1980’s.

What do you think of this 928?  Post your comments!

I own the prototype from which the kit for this car was developed. My car, originally owned by Jim McCashin — nephew of Briggs Cunningham, was featured on the cover of Sports Car International in June 1987. I am a family friend of the McCashins and was fortunate to purchase the car from Jim’s nephew who purchased the car from Jim. In addition to the handmade widebody kit, my car features a dry sump oil system, much lower and upgraded suspension, one off BBS wheels, and an intercooled turbo. Happy to send a scan of the article.
