Location: Tempe, Arizona
Here is a 1971 Intermeccania Italia found for sale in Tempe, Arizona. It has gone through a full restoration and looks to be well done. It only has 24,250 miles on the odometer. The seller has reduced the price form $120,000 to $100,000. This was a very expensive car when new and for that reason they did not sell well. The convertible is even more beautiful.
Construzione Automobili Intermecannica Company was a tiny sport car company based in Turin, Italy. These cars use a 5.8 liter Cleveland V8 making 310 horsepower. There were approximately 600 Italias built between 1967 and 1973 with most being convertibles. Only 56 coupes were constructed making them extremely rare. Convertibles have been sold as high as $150,000 USD but surprisingly the coupes are priced lower even though they are more rare.
