How to identify a genuine Porsche RS Duck Tail

I have never been able to  tell the difference between a real Porsche Duck tail or a replica.  This is what I have found.

If I am incorrect in my research, please correct me.  I am genuinely interested to know the difference between a real and a replica.

The  Duck Tail  from the 1973 Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic shapes in automotive history.   It is not only  beautiful but functional as well.    The duck tail provided lightness , better engine cooling, and decreases lift especially above 80 MPH and higher.   Ten years ago , I can remember seeing them for sale for $1,200 to $2,000 and thinking the seller was out of his mind.  Who would pay such a high price?   Well in hindsight,  I wish I was that fool.    Today , these Duck Tails can be $5,000 to $10,000 +.  Since the Porsche Company always pushed the limits of technology,  they experimented with fiberglass for aerodynamics and lightness.   The Duck Tails were not made of metal skins, they used fiberglass

This particular car has had the same owner for 37 years. Amazing! Its was originally Argento Auteuil Metalizzato which is one of the many variations of silver that Ferrari offered. Metallic colors look amazing on the Dino 246 body. It would look stunning restored back to its original color. It has 77k original miles and comes with all books/ service records/ tool kits. This is a USA model and has the recessed front turn signal lenses not found on European production models. This seems to be a very good car for a great price.

6 speed transmission
Odometer: 4,462 Miles
Engine Size: 1,000 cc

The Ago is a rare edition only made in 2005.    Only 300 bikes were produced and you dont find them for sale very often anymore.  Five years ago , you could always find 2-3 for sale at any given time.   Seems people are holding on to their Agos longer.    These bikes had a red alcantara seat , special wheels , and a number 1 in a yellow oval on the side referencing the racing heritage and the rider Giacomo Agostini.    He was the most victorious motorcycle racer for MV Agusta.  He won 14 world championships, 10 Tourist Trophies, and over 250 races.   The special edition was a tribute that was all appearance and cosmetics.   The Engine was kept identical to the production 1000 CC version.

Lamborghini Espada Items for sale

Since finding the Espada , I wanted to see what other parts could be sourced for a restoration project.  Apparently you can still get reproduction  Espada emblems.   The tool bag , wrenches, and screwdrivers can still be  found since they are shared across other production models.  There are even Espada doors for sale on Ebay in Los Angeles.

I love Espadas and these keep climbing in value.  I had an opportunity to buy one for $60k over 8 years ago and still regret it ever since.   This one is in very nice original condition.  Seller also states this car was ordered by Malcolm Forbes in a very unusual color combination of Arancio over Bertone “VIP” Arancio Leather Interior.   This Espada left the Sant’ Agata Bolognese factory on October 29, 1971 and delivered to Forbes by Modena Car, New York.    Very cool history on this car.   The Chassis number is
