1959 Porsche Convertible D For Sale
Location: Tempe, Arizona
1 of 1331 units produced.
Body by Drauz
The official Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is included

There was a dark blue Convertible D that we reported on a few months ago  for $130k.  That car had some issues to deal with but was a good restoration project.   This car in Tempe, Arizona is a fully restored example that is ready to enjoy.   The Convertible D was only made for 1 year and this is 1 of 1331 examples produced.   These were the successor to the Porsche 356 Speedster and designed to be more driver friendly.   The D had a 3 1/2 ” taller windscreen, roll up windows, larger rear window, and coupe seats.   This car  seems to have everything done to show level.  Its pretty impressive and worth looking at for a serious collector looking to acquire one.

Here is a beautiful blue 1963 Porsche 356 Carrera 2.  It is currently for sale in New York at Manhattan Motorcars.   Just 1 of 436 examples ever built.  It even has the rare electric sunroof option.    This is really the gold standard for collectors of Porsche 356 cars.  I have seen and heard one in person at my local cars and coffee meet.  It is surprisingly loud but would love to own it. There is very little info from Manhattan Motorcars in their ad but I hope for their asking price it is a museum show piece with the original matching numbers engine.  What a beautiful color!

Porsche 911 Office Desk For Sale
Location:  South Gate, Los Angeles

This Porsche  desk is found for sale in Los Angeles and may be perfect for someone’s  man cave.   This person has created a fiberglass Porsche desk to be as realistic as possible.   The headlights are vinyl reproductions.    The rims and tires are also made out of fiberglass but the frame is made out of steel.   It weights approximately 100 pounds.  The desk glass is not included and seller wants $150 more.    I do wish it was a real front end of a Porsche 911 modified into a desk.

Price $1,550 US Dollars

1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RSH For Sale: 1 of 17 RSH Model Built/ Ultra Lightweight Version

1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RSH For Sale
Location: Germany
Chassis No 9113601256
Engine 66312227
Odometer 78,000 km
Only 17 cars (RSH) had been ordered in this Ultra Lightweight version!

All I can say is WOW!   Porsche built 1590 911 RS 2.7 examples in total.   10 Prototypes, 1308 RS-Touring, 200 RS Lighweights, 55 RSR 2.8 examples and only 17 RSH homologation cars.   The RSH cars were built to meet homologation rules.   They were built and driven to the official municipality of Stuttgardt to get the official weight documents.  After the weigh in, the cars went back to the factory to be completed to the specific order the client.  These 17 cars are now known as the ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT versions!
This car was purchased by a German Hotel Owner in May of 1973.   It was originally delivered in viper green and the car had zero options.  It only weighed 935kg.    Due to too much unwanted attention, he removed the duck tail and painted it in the color you see now.   The car was sold to the current owner in 1983 with 68,000 km and now has only added 10,000 km in the last 33 years.   Amazing!
The RSH had following identifying features (list is not complete):
– Thinner glass
– Only one battery
– No clock
– No under coat
– Light weight seats
– Door interior panel
– No noise damping
– Only one fanfare for the horn
– No sun visor for the passenger
– No lid at the glove department
– Only lightweight carpets and rubber mat
