1990 Mercedes Benz Unimog FLU419

Spotted in Rosewell, Georgia is a 1990 Mercedes Benz Unimog FLU419 for $20,000 USD.   You dont see very many Unimogs on the road anymore but this one is something I have never seen before.  This is a former Military Freightliner.  This one has a 17 foot Case Back Ho and International Front End Loader attached.  The seller states this is one of his toys and does not use it anymore.  It runs and drive and attachments operate properly.  This  vehicle sold new for $136,000 USD.  The selling price seems to be in line with similar offerings in the market.

1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC KOENIG

Spotted in Germany is a 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC KOENIG for €129,000 ($153,259 USD ).  This is as outrageous as you could get in the 80’s.   You dont find very many of these Koenig bodied cars come up for sale let alone a convertible.   The engine seems to be a stock 560SEC with no engine mods.  This example has 162,500 km and is a 1 owner car.   The color is Blauschwarzmetallic 199 (black).

What do you think of this 560SEC Koenig Special?

1992 Mercedes 500E

Spotted in Pacific Heights , San Francisco is a 1992 Mercedes 500E for $14,999 USD.  The seller is getting an overwhelming response to this car.  The price is firm.  I am always skeptical when the seller says no time to let the buyer take it to a mechanic.  The price is under market for a 144,000 mile car.  This wont last long.  They seem to be holding steady in price if not increasing for good examples.

What do you think of this car?

It is the only one specifically ordered through Daimler AG with a rare combination of an S-class 722-5 automatic transmission; combined with a post-production modification through, then still independent AMG, Affalterbach, with an unprecedented 3:69 gear ratio ASR differential. This combination was never ordered for any other W124 chassis save for this one-off, hand-built cabriolet!

Mercedes 560 SEL With Rare Seating Option

Spotted in Denver is a Mercedes 560 SEL With Rare Seating Option for $6,999 USD.  These are great sedans when Mercedes cars were bullet proof.  I love this generation.   I have never seen this seating option in an SEL before.  This looks like an SEC seating configuration swapped into a 560SEL.  The rear seats have independent 2 way adjustable heated seats.

Do you think this is a factory option ?

Mercedes W126 Glove Box TV, AMG Steering Wheels , and AMG Gauge Cluster Found in Illinois

Mercedes W126 AMG Glove Box TV, AMG Steering Wheel, and AMG Gauge Cluster

Spotted in Illinois is a Mercedes W126 AMG Glove Box TV, AMG Steering Wheel, and AMG Gauge Cluster for $2,899 USD. These parts have been removed from a Japanese w126 SEC wide body AMG. The pre-merger AMG steering wheel has some scratches but both horn buttons work properly but includes the wheel hub as well. The instrument cluster has AMG white faces which are metal and not cheap paper imitations. The cluster shows in Kilometers not Miles.  By far the best item in this auction is the AMG Glove Box Panasonic TV with all accessories and the remote control.  Nothing screams 1990s AMG than this TV.  I doubt the reception was ever that good but it spoke volumes of the decade of excess.  The TV console has a small storage department with cup holders when the door is open. The seller does not know if the TV is functional.

What do you think of these AMG items?
