1991 Ferrari Mondial T Convertible

 

Spotted in San Rafael, California is a 1991 Ferrari Mondial T Convertible for $32,500 USD.  Sorry to hear that the owner has passed but the car is going off to a new home.  It is a 2 owner car in a beautiful rare blue color.  It has had a $25,000 engine rebuild 3 years ago and has only traveled 3,000 miles since then.   The interior was given a $5,000 restoration and the brakes, suspension bushing were redone as well.   This Mondial T comes with a 6 inch folder of service history.   The AC system was rebuilt as well.   It has been lovingly taken care during the seller’s ownership.   The car has 79,200 original miles.

1971 Ferrari 246 GT M Series Found in Niagara Falls

Spotted in Niagara Falls area is a 1971 Ferrari 246 GT M Series for $349,000 USD.  The seller states this is the first time this car has been offered for sale in 30 years.   This looks to be a 1971 Series 2 M series Euro model with a total of 507 examples being built.  Out of the 507 , this is 1 of 31 series 2 examples made with leather interior.  The odometer reads 58,000 Miles.  This was a new delivery vehicle to Toronto Canada.  Apparently all 5 Dinos that came to Canada were Euro Spec Cars.   The seller states the engine was rebuilt in the early 80’s at around 35,000 Miles.  The interior was redone in 2016 at a cost of $11,000 USD with proof of invoice.

Spotted in California is a 1978 Lamborghini Espada III for $75,000 USD.   This is an ultra rare 1978 model Series 3 car with only 8,000 original miles (13K Kilometers.)  According to the seller this is believed to be the only example known to exist in the USA.   The Lamborghini factory stopped shipping Espadas to the USA in 1976 but continued to be built until 1978.  This car was purchased from Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from a Saudi Royal Prince.  At the time of purchase the car had only 6000 Kilometers but currently reads 13,000 Kilometers.  It was shipped from the port of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Laspezia , Italy and then eventually arrived at the Port of Los Angeles/ Long Beach during the summer of 1982.   The DOT standards were done by Albert Merdikian Engineering in Newport Beach, California known for building the Ferrari Spider in Miami Vice.

This car has undergone a fully restored leather interior which includes the seats, dash and panels.  The Espada was serviced and maintained by South Coast Ferrari of Orange County, California with all records included with the car.  The 12 cylinder engine was completely rebuilt by South Coast Ferrari from the ground up including 6 brands new Four Barrel Weber Carburetors (old ones are still on the car) for a total cost of $40,000 USD (receipts included).   The engine will need service before restarting and the broken windshield will have to be replaced.    The car is rust free and has been in dry storage since 1990.   It has a clean California Title with original owners manual along with a signed letter from Ferrucio Lamborghini stating the market it was originally manufactured for.   There is a 2 inch thick folder of all original documents.    The car was purchased by the seller in 1982 and is a 1 owner vehicle since it arrived in the USA.  It does not run at the moment and will need servicing.

Spotted in Cohasset, Massachusetts is a Ferrari 333 SP Front Body  for $5,000 USD.  The seller states this is from the lienhard/ moretti Daytona race car that was damaged and then repaired.  its a great piece of wall art and would impress any car enthusiast.  I noticed the louvers above the wheels arches are not functional.  Was this the case with real race cars?   Cool piece of memorabilia.

Spotted in Modesto, California is a 1967 Alfa Romeo GTC Convertible for $225,000 USD.  The seller states this 3 owner car has been professionally restored and always maintained very well.   According to the iWikipedia the cabriolet was only offered in 1965 and 1966.  There were a total of 1,000 examples built by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan.  The cabriolet was introduced to the press at the Monza race track on 4 March 1965, and then made its public debut at the March 1965 Geneva Motor Show

Spotted in Cohasset, Massachusetts is a Ferrari Formula One F93A Front Nose Cone for $3,500 USD.   The seller doesnt provide much information.  I am curious how he was able to get this piece and would like to verify its authenticity.  this is the nose cone for Jean Alesi F93A Formula One car.  It has been restored and painted but the decals have not been applied yet.

Spotted in Washington is a 1992 Ferrari 512TR Silver for $298,000 USD.   This is a rare silver color with black leather.  It only has 11,631 original miles and has only has 2 owners since new.  The seller states this car has been given Ferrari Classiche Certification and has won “First In Class” winner 4 years in a row (2014-2017) at the Northwest Region of the Ferrari Club of America Concourse.  The original window sticker is included showing MSRP at $195,600 USD and the original delivery to Grand Prix Motorsporst in Seattle, Washington.  These cars are notorious like many Ferrari models for the sticky interior trim pieces.  This has been corrected by the seller which is a nice bonus.  Also a plus is the major service was completed only 1,500 miles ago which included valve/ cam timing , new timing belt/ tensioners, new valve cover gasket, new cam seals, new accessory belt, new engine oil filter, new brake fluid, new coolant, new gear oil  ,and new AC Freon/ Filter totaling $9,930 USD.
