1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta

Spotted in Savannah, Tennessee is a 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta for $37,500 USD.   This is an excellent candidate for restoration.  It is light blue with blue and white interior.  The seller states this is a USA model 10105 with California Black Plate that was last registered in 1979.  This car may actually be a 1959 model but was registered in 1961.  The seller has the original California registration paperwork.  Car was formerly owned by Joe Richardson in California. He raced Alfa Romeos and other cars in the 1960s and 1970s.  Has tool kit and spare tire with jack.  This car has never been apart or repainted.  This car needs a complete restoration.

The restoration was started, but stopped when the owner took the left driver’s window and left rear quarter window out of the car. The car comes with these parts, along with the chrome trim that was removed when the restoration was started years ago.

Spotted in Los Angeles is a 1969 Alfa Romeo Boat Tail Spider for $29,500 USD.   The seller states that over 60k has gone into this restoration and it has only gone 2,000 miles since.   Everything is new on the car.  The underside is clean with no rust and perfect body lines.  There have been no accidents and everything runs great.

Spotted in Manayunk, Philadelphia is a 1972 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 for $20,000 USD.   The seller has owned this car for the past 5 years.  . Car is is good running condition. New clutch, pistons, rotors, plugs, wires, etc.  It has a clean Arizona Title. The engine produced 130 hp at 5500 rpm with the SPICA fuel injection. These cars are identified as the 2000 GTV by the horizontal bars in the grille forming around the Alfa Heart in the center.

Spotted in Gardena California is a 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint for $43,500 USD.   This is a late-production, true Giulietta Sprint with the transition body shell and chassis numbering system used on the later Giulia Sprints. Originally a German delivery car, it made its way to Arkansas sometime prior to 1973 and then into the hands of a long-term owner in Oklahoma until 2005. Under the current owner, the car was subject to a bare metal

Spotted in Charlton Massachusetts is a 1962 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Touring.   This rare car has 78,194 original miles.   It has has the same owner since 1971.   The motor turns freely and engine cranks with battery attached.   The left rear brake drum is seized.  It was just taken out of storage.    Prior to that, it underwent a cosmetic restoration and engine refreshening in the early 80’s.    The seller does not state price but insists he knows the current market of these cars and will accept serious offers.

Spotted in San Francisco is a 1991 Alfa Romeo SZ for $93,000 USD.   These SZ cars were never brought to the USA officially however there they are being imported now.   The 25 year import rule has finally reached these beautiful cars and it is believed there are about a dozen in the USA already.   This example is number 857 of 1,036 total SZ couples produced.   Also known as Il Mostro in Italy, and revered as one of the most exotic Alfa Romeos produced in the modern age.  Created as a halo car for Alfa, overall performance/value ratio compared favorably with the period Ferrari 348 model.  This SZ has a very low 14,600 original kilometers and is in excellent condition (less than 9k miles). A very original, clean and straight SZ in remarkable condition. Can be driven and enjoyed now, and sure to appreciate over time. The car comes with book and car cover.  These cars have sold in varying conditions from $70k up to 110k.

Spotted in Palos Verdes, Ca is a 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 for $29,000 USD.   This is a freshly restored car and is painted in a custom color inspired by a boutique racing garage called Conrero in the 1950s.  New paint, chrome, wheels, interior, brakes, springs, and everything you’d want refreshed on a Blue Plate California always car.  The seller bought this car in its original condition from a guy in Temecula. He was so confident he would love the car he drove it out to show it to him. The car runs great. It’s like a sling shot.  The seller owns and have owned so many Alfas from 1300 Veloces to 2600’s. This is his favorite motor to actually drive.  It was painted to clone a Conrero Racer. Conrero was a boutique racing garage in Italy
